A film by Jacob Höhne featuring the RambaZamba ensemble
Joachim's life is falling apart: his wife Claudia suddenly seems interested only in money, his daughter Hieu has fallen in love - of all people - with the penniless musician Leo, even though she is promised to someone else, and drug boss Hans-Harald crashes the VIP party celebrating Hieu's engagement. In his search for happiness, Joachim becomes increasingly reliant on remedies, powders, and pills - until, of all things, the toad "Bufo Marinus" and the hallucinogenic effect of its secretion finally set him back on the right track.
The first film by the RambaZamba Theatre has arrived, showing that the inclusive ensemble's joy of performance and artistic expressiveness also unfold their very special charm in front of the camera.
