Who hasn’t heard of RambaZamba’s Divas? Joyous, erotically wrapped in paper, they stutter, limp, scream and gasp, are bewildered and bewildering: and it’s all about the bigger picture. They thrust themselves upon Dada with all their might and delight, juggle with syllables and shoes and crawl after every letter. Even musically nothing remains whole. There is no fear of anything, and it ends up meaning nothing! Any sense it could have made falls apart and shatters into pieces, just as it once did in Zurich’s Cabaret Voltaire. Gisela Höhne, together with the RambaZamba actors, has developed this Dadaist revue using texts by Heimrad Bäcker, Daniil Charms, Ernst Herbeck, Ernst Jandl, Kurt Schwitters and Gisela Höhne, resulting in a homage to the revolutionary spirit of the Dadaists!
